Items we need:

• 100% cotton or cotton blend fabric, breathable with reasonable particle filtration (i.e. tightly woven).

  • This will be the outer layer of the mask.

• 100% flannel -Must be machine washable.

  • Flannel is better at filtering particles, and more comfortable on the skin, therefore this provides the mask's inside layer.

• Filtration media 

• Pipe cleaners or nose bridge

  • This allows for a custom fit to the face to secure a better seal.

• Elastic 1/4 inch or 1/8 inch wide, woven

  • This secures the mask to the face. ​

• Paracord

  • An alternative to elastic.​
